Rami Malek confirms ‘Bond 25’ is Daniel Craig’s “last” 007 movie

It has been confirmed by Rami Malek that Bond 25 will be Daniels Craig’s “last’, appearance in a 007 movie.

The actor first appeared as the iconic secret agent was in 2006 Casino Royale and more recently 2015’s Spectre, he has filled the role in a total of 4 bond movies.

During an interview on Good Morning Americayesterday (April 25), Malek said of starring in Bond 25

“It’s going to be thrilling, and it’s Daniel’s last film.” 

“I know, it’s sad,” he said, as the studio was filled with disappointment. “But I’m going to give him a run for his money.”

Malek praised Craig for how he played the 007 Character. “I think Daniel has just done an outstanding job in making him, in a way, relatable,” he explained. 

“Obviously, there’s a lot of things that none of us can do as James Bond. 

“He brings this class to it and this human factor. He’s kind of cynical at the same time and ruthless, but you’re always rooting for him. He’s been terrific. It will be very interesting to go up against that man.”

Malek will play an as-yet-unnamed villain in the film.

Bond 25is currently due for release on April 8, 2020. It will be directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (ManiacBeasts Of No Nation)
